A California-native and descendant of Mexican immigrants, I hold a BA from the College of Creative Studies at UC Santa Barbara (2023) and an MFA from North Carolina State University (2015).

I've been a semi-finalist for the WCIW fellowship, a VCCA resident, and a Writing x Writers scholarship recipient.

My short story work has appeared in Carve Magazine, Nano Fiction, At Length Magazine, and SmokeLong Quarterly.

My story “Hostages” was selected by Roxane Gay for the Kore Press short fiction prize.
